TaskBullet Proxy — privacy policy

This policy covers the TaskBullet Proxy Chrome/Edge extension used by TaskBullet employees for client work.

What it does

The extension routes selected browser traffic through TaskBullet-operated proxy servers so a VA’s web IP matches the region a client requires. Phone/Twilio traffic is never sent through the proxy.

Data we handle

• A short-lived pairing code and extension token (stored in the browser) so the extension can fetch proxy profiles.
• The customer you select on Connect (for cost attribution).
• Connect / disconnect events (time, profile, customer, extension version) sent to TaskBullet ops.
• Proxy credentials are stored only in Chrome session storage and are never shown in page HTML.

The extension does not sell data, does not run ads, and does not collect browsing history beyond the connect/disconnect audit needed to bill proxy usage to a customer.

Who it is for

TaskBullet employees only. It is distributed as an unlisted Chrome Web Store item (or force-installed on managed browsers). It is not a public VPN.
